Meeting Methodology

The five topics suggested by the IDB were selected based on our institution's interest in obtaining specific feedback on policies, strategies, frameworks or working papers developed by IDB staff. Each topic will be the subject of a session. Each session will involve documents to be distributed to all participants prior to the meeting.

The next step in developing the methodology will be defining the structure of each session. The meeting will feature an independent team of facilitators (local firm). In each session, there will be at least one panel composed of an IDB representative (who will present the document to be discussed), a civil society representative (who will comment on the document), and a specific case presented either by the CSO or the IDB. Once the methodology has been fully defined, all CSOs will be informed and invited to provide a presentation or a case study for the sessions.

All documents produced by the IDB will be posted on this website once they are finalized. Similarly, topics suggested by the CSOs will be supported by materials/documents provided by the CSOs. We expect to post the documents at least two weeks prior to the meeting.
