The IDB Group promotes development in Latin American and the Caribbean through the private sector. We offer financing and technical assistance to companies and institutions whose projects have a positive impact on social and economic development in the region. We support a wide range of players, from microenterprises to large companies as well as financial institutions, non-profit organizations and state-owned enterprises.
The IDB Group also offers new business opportunities for firms and consultants from all IDB member countries through our lending program to countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Each year, procurement processes, managed by executing agencies and subject to IDB procurement policies, generate 20,000 separate contract opportunities.
The IDB Group is comprised of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB), the Inter-American Investment Corporation (IIC) and the Multilateral Investment Fund (MIF).
